France Q1 2021: Top Platformer Games Performance Overview

In the first quarter of 2021, France saw significant activity in the platformer games category. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Subway Surfers, a long-standing favorite, showed a steady performance with downloads fluctuating between 38K and 74K. The weekly active users started at 824K and increased to 858K by the end of the quarter, while revenue trends saw a peak of $3.9M mid-quarter before settling at around $1.9M.

Nintendo's Super Mario Run experienced a decrease in downloads, starting the quarter at 33K and ending at 9.8K. The active user count also saw a decline from 140K to 88.6K. Revenue followed a similar downward trend, beginning at $4.2M and closing the quarter at approximately $1.5M.

Lastly, Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! by King made a splash with its release in the last week of March. The game garnered an impressive 700K downloads in its first week and 172K in the second, with active users reaching 780K shortly after launch.
